A quick update on things =P

Last week, I had my first ever Karaoke session. FIRST EVER!! And it lasted 4 hours. We had it during lunch, and they have this lunch package which cost students with a student card RM15 and non students RM16. Just a difference of RM1, not a big deal. The things included in the package is one serving of drinks (no refill -.-), one plate of whatever that you choose from their menu and 4 hours of K session running from 11am to 3pm.

So the food…

And the place…

This is Enter K at Crown Plaza.

Camwhoring in Jimmy’s car =P

Kuching Food Fair!! This is held every year, and nothing of this year is different from the previous years.

My humble suggestion for going to this place is to go there around 5pm when there are less people (I don't really fancy crowds), and you can take marvelous food pictures during that time!! Hehehe.

The story of my hair… Part 2

Remember this post which I posted a lot of my photos?

This is the long overdue part 2. Nothing much to say, it’s just that I got a hair cut by a pro, but for free!! If I were to pay for that service, it would have made a big hole on my pocket. Cut, wash and dry, black colouring (they thought my hair was not black enough -.-||| ) From a stylist of her level of seniority, it could cost me around £80-£100, no kidding. Plus a free GHD straightener, I received a £200++ hair service for free.

My bob cut… and my black hair dyed black.

Straightener became a must, so it was bad news for my hair.

Don’t tell me you have never heard the damage of straightener on hair? Duh~

I like styling it like that, but I only did it once because it was such a nuisance to straighten the front bit and to curl the top bit, not forgetting the damage done too.

Fashion cut was and is always such a waste on me. Hahaha. I am more of a 'wash n go' girl, not even just to spare 2 minutes to put on hair products.

So, two months after I first got the haircut, I could not take it anymore. I chopped off the “side wings”, by myself, before I flew back to Malaysia=P

Although the "wings" were gone, straightening was still a must, and I do not want to do any rebonding.

NOW… for the moment of truth.

I went to McPhee at on Monday…

What do you think?

On the cuts, duh~ not the photoshopping.

Of Jade Pot and ICT expo 2008...

Irene brought me to the ICT expo.

But before that, LUNCH!!

Jade Pot, the place where I frequent back in my Sedaya days. So much memories there. We luuuvved~ that place because it was cheap, the food did not taste bad, and most importantly, it had air conditioning!! Since I ended Sedaya days, I never went back. Not even last year when I was back in Kuching for summer.

2 odd years passed, and I went back!! Thanks to Irene!! And the driver also lah... =P Thanks!

… now my friends only bring me to Jalan Song

….

So, nothing changed at Jade Pot. Still same old place, like how I left it few years back, cheap, do not taste bad and with air con. Gosh… why am I making myself feel soooooo old?

That’s the bill… (I love MyPrivilageBook coupons!!)

… and that’s the food…

卤肉饭 (braised pork with rice) RM 5;温州云吞汤冬粉 (Wonton with glass noodle) RM5my 黄金炒饭 (Egg fried rice) RM4;猪排面 (pork chop with noodle) RM4.50

… and that’s some pots and cups…

… and that’s one of the writings hang on the wall…

… and that’s the drinks…

乌梅茶 ( Black plum tea) RM2.50;薄荷奶茶 (Mint milk tea) RM3my 凤梨绿茶 (Pineapple green tea) RM2.50;蜂蜜绿茶 (Honey green tea) RM2.50

My biggest blunder of the day:

“I would like to have one Phoenix green tea (凤凰绿茶), please.” 凤凰绿茶=凤梨绿茶

Slap myself…

The expo is on the top floor of the Permata Carpark, and going to be from from 1st Aug to 3rd Aug 2008. There is nothing much to see though. It is a very small expo where every booth sells similar things. BLaaaaaaaahh… no show girls to see too. But there are some girls with mini shorts or skirts there loh… still a far cry from showgirls. No showgirls, what more to say showguys. Sigh…

Slap myself for the second time…

Anyhooo… I had fun bargaining for my sis. We were like going from booth to booth, then go back to the same booth again which were like on the opposite end of the room from each other!! My feet… No lah.. my heels were only 1 inch. Hahaha..

After few minutes of heated conversation.

RM xxx 吧,怎样?”

When the guy said “好!! 杀你!!RM XXX 吧!" after like 30 seconds for him to do some calculations in his head.

The moment of glory…

But… Cheh~ Irene did not buy it in the end.

But, I am still so proud of myself. I am now qualified to be THE aunty that goes to the market and 杀杀杀. Muahahaha…

How much does an ORIGINAL CoolerMaster cost normally, anyway?

Haaaa… bargaining without knowing the actual price.

Slap myself again..

But during an expo, the prices should have been marked down, right? So, expo price RM 120, ori price would be somewhere RM130, no? Haaa.. nevermind now.

I have also met quite a number of bloggers there. Ivelyn lah, Isaac lah, Micheal lah, Rambo lah. Not too bad, consider I have only met them ONCE!

Twice, including this time.

The red, the green, the blue and the crowd. Quite nice hor? If only the seven colours of rainbow were present.

Why my post always ended up soooooooooooooo long?
