After Exam@Frankie & Benny's
Good food after approx one month of Maggie and frozen stuff. Paradise!!
So, after one month of gruesome revision and another month of battle, we do have to treat ourselves to a nice meal, don’t we? So, 5 hours after our last paper, we headed to Frankie & Benny’s. I love this place. I like the staff*hint hint*, and I like the atmosphere.
This time round, we were given a place right in front of the kitchen. I could see the chef preparing not only our food, but also food for other tables!!*salivate* The actual plan was to go to Mex, a newly open Mexican restaurant which is just two doors away from F&B, but it was full when we arrived, and there was no possible way to fit 18 of us together. So, Mex was safe from us that day, but it would not be for long.

On the left is Mai Tai. On the right is Mojitos. Mojitos is really refreshing. Cathy hates it, but I like it.Okay, this is what I had, which explain the reason why I could took two photos of it before the presentation of the dish was ruin. You simply cannot expect other hungry non-bloggers to let you have a second take on their food.

Serloin Steak with Garlic Tiger Prawns, second most expensive from the steak menu. Lily complained it was tough, although requested it to be done medium well.
Sister Rosaria's Lamb Shank, cooked in rosemary and mint gravy. This is absolutely tasty. I love this!!! But sorry I could not have a closer take of the dish, and sorry I was not in time to take the photo when the plate just landed. Thus, explained the separated bone and meat.
Frankie's Fried Calamari, calamari coated in garlic breadcrumbs and sprinkled with italian cheese. Funny how we people are, ordering appetiser after our main meals. Haha. Anyway, the sotong was reallly tender. Nice! Why do I seem to be a better photographer than he is? =P
