Everything is so quiet...

So many things happened, so much noised, but none told.

Finals start on the 9th.. this left me with less than two weeks of reading time..

To be honest, I made myself read throughout my spring break, which was the previous three weeks.. I read, but if you ask me what's this and what's that on our handouts, I can only give you a blank face..

Four modules in total, I have only "read" one..

I really have to thank y.o.u.t.u.b.e these few weeks.. I have tried to read my notes without it, but it wouldn't work. I would fall asleep without finishing a set of notes. Y.o.u.t.u.b.e helps me read through at least a few sets of notes each day. But now, the site is down, and the player wouldn't play. I'm feeling sleepy.

This is how I do my revision. I'll go to y.o.u.t.u.b.e, get a playlist and just let it play. So, assuming I start reading since 10am, it would start playing since 10am till I go to bed, which would be around 2am. So, I finish one series every two days. Actually how many series have I "watched"? *wink*

So many things have changed. The people around me, as well as myself. Growing up? I guess so. Oh, congrates to someone for getting that job in that airline. You know who you are.. We really are growing up. Each of us is going to end up at different part of the world. Still remember that time, when we want to hang out, we are just a phone call away and get the car. Now, to meet up, we need more than just a car. We need aeroplanes.

Let's get a personal jet one day :P

Till then, I shall continue to read. All the best to all you folk out there too!

The story of my hair…

…and I.

When I was really young, seven-eight-nine-ten-ish, I have a head of straight hair… a head of straight hair that looked as if it was rebonding-ly done. But maklumlah, when I was at that age, rebonding was not heard of. I always kept shoulder length hair that time, as in blunt straight shoulder length. No layering, no texturing. Nothing. Kids bah… knew nothing about fashion. It was that straight that it would not even curl out when it reach the shoulder.

Then, I let it grew past my shoulder. One year after another. It grew so long until one day I decided to have it cut short again. Then I realized I no longer have my straight hair. My short hair looked so messy because of the waves that who knows when they started to develop.

I really had trouble keeping my hair tidy. Nobody told me how to take care of wavy hair. So, I always had this messy terrible hair that looked as if I was nobody’s child (ok, exaggerated =P). I hate it so much that I even saying it out loud during an English period that I hate my hair. I remember my English teacher then told me, “Appreciate with what you have.” That was in secondary school.

It was long after that, and I do mean really looong after that, I started to like my wavy hair. I slowly learn how to keep my wavy hair. People started asking me, “Where did you get your curls done? They looked so natural!” I proudly replied, “They are natural.”

But wavy hair has a mind of its own. It could be no hassle at all at times in keeping them, but it could be hell lots of trouble in keeping them at times, and that would be most of the time.

My hair is really fine, and thin. Not to forget frizzy. I need a lot of products to make each strain of them stay obedient. When I am in a rush for time (most of the time I am), be it to go to class or to parties even, I turn up with my hair none-product loaded, and it would look really messy, making me looked as if I were a little kid who do not know how to take care of herself. But when I really style it, it looks really glamorous with curls that normal have to be achieved using curling tongs.

One good thing for about having natural curls is that I can trim it myself. I can cut it by myself, however I want, whenever I want with my own scissors. This is because it would just curl and any sharp unsophisticated hair edges would not show. This is something that no one could ever do to straight hair by themselves. I have been cutting my own hair lots of time already. Not only my own hair, I have been cutting my guys’ hair too. But, I have only touched two heads of my girls.

I am watching MalaysianDreamgirl lately. When I started watching it, I watched 6 episodes in one go. Remember when they had this major makeover? Long hairs were cut short, really short. It was a drastic change to them, but they look nice. Chic.

A pair of scissors and a very adventurous mind…

… guess what I did.
