Adrian turned 19 on 19 November 2007!

Okay. This is so so yesterday already. But I have not blogged about it. Especially the food bit. Hahahaha. So, it’s not about the guy who turned 19, but about the food.

We decided to eat out as we were busy with work that we didn’t have time to do all the preparation for a big feast like what we did last year. We were so free last year that we did big feast for each occasion. But this year, due to man power shortage, we couldn’t anymore. Not at the moment, at least.

So, no surprises. But the birthday boy learnt of the eating out just that afternoon, which was the 18^th, a Sunday night. Eating out on a Monday night??! Siao meh?

So, we set off to Newcastle around 5.45pm. We accidentally left Jac behind. Whooppss..

On the Metro..

Ah Pan, “Jean, how come today don’t ban leng leng?”

Ahahaha. Yea, so, I was dressed in a black jumper, the necklace was a last minute thing, and just a little bit of powder to cover up those ugly spot. So, strictly speaking, I was far from being dressed up. But, I still looked fab, right?

Can you see the colour coding there? We were joking that we were two sets of parents and the two sitting across us were the couple getting married. Lame~~

The total for our table (we took up two tables, so we pay separately by table) was £80+ but the lao pan was kind to give us student discounts. The lao pan doesn’t speak good English, and I don’t speak fluent Cantonese. So, we had a little bit of miscommunication when sorting out the student discount and the extra charges for paying by card. So, if we are paying by card, there can’t be any student discount. If we pay by cash, then we can get the student discount. Simple as that, and I still looh looh.. Sigh~ Ngor ge guong dong wua dou emm hai hou cha, gam dou hui yao umm wui. Wo chan hai tai sat bai.

Yay! We got him a cake. Felt so bad for not baking him one.

Battle of the sexes..

He lost. So, he had to stripe outside, even though the temperature was close to zero.

He lost… again. Stripping indoor now, this time, and wear only his sleeping pants.

We played dirty to win. He had the real thing, we? Plain water lah, my sayangs. He knew, anyway=P

Although he is the youngest among all of us (yea, blame it on Hong Kong education system), he is our go to guy. Responsible, full of ideas and always have a solution to everything. Problems? “Adrian!!” Face a dead-end? “Adrian!!” Want to travel? “Adrian!!” He’s really one of the really really good guys that almost gone extinct.

Too bad…

Hold your horses!! Both of them are single and available. I repeat SINGLE and AVAILABLE. The picture? They forced them to do it. I wasn’t there. So, I have nothing to do with any evil plan there. What’s the ‘too bad…’ for then? Too bad they are single lah.

Happy Birthday, Adrian, although it’s exactly one month ago.

side note: I've finished Season 2 of Heroes! 11 episodes, less then 11 hours! Yay!

Of Nandos and French & Continental Market...

We went to Nando's! We don't eat out that often, wookay?

They have a new flavour, Mango and Lime (first pic). I have no idea when they had started to have it. Have you tried it? It's absolutely finger licking good.. why do I make it sound so like KFC. Oh Fyi, Sunderland does not have a KFC outlet in its city centre. But, who needs KFC, anyway?

It’s only 10:15pm! Another night wasted..

On another hand, I’m done with the microbiology and dispensing test.. yea.. the most happening week because of this dispensing test..

My tooth

This is my tooth.

Yes, this is my tooth that you are seeing.

I had it extracted on Monday.

It’s a nice perfect no defect strong tooth. Why did I have it taken out?

It’s because I suffer from food packing when I eat.

I had nicely aligned molars (that is what we call the big teeth at the back of our mouth, fyi.) on my right side of the mouth before last year. Then a new molar appear and caused a big havoc. The molars on left side of my mouth have been disorderly since like… forever, so I love eating using the right side. Luckily the disorderly teeth are only at the back of my mouth =P I have neat teeth in front.

So, both side are over crowded, both side can cause food packing now, how to overcome? Cabut! Extract! Sigh.. the problem with having a small sexy mouth. There’s just not enough space for all the lovely teeth! It’s such a pity.

So, now I have a big hole on my gum. I can feel dangling tissues on the gum. I taste blood in my mouth. Imagine a hole as deep as a five pence diameter, you see nothing but red flesh and blood.. if you are having goose bums, I’m not sorry because that’s exactly my intention. Muahahahahaha..

Before the tiny tooth removal surgery, there are some protocol that every dentist must do. And so, the dentist was just doing her job responsibly asking..

Yes, with the ??! intonation and the surprised face. Now what does that suppose to mean?

The procedure was quick. Proved that she is a very good dentist with very strong arms. Ehehehehe..

Then her assistant asked me..

I never knew that we can take our teeth after extracting them. Sakai...

Now, what should i do with it?

I'm too old to put it under my pillow, by the way.

Quick, painless and no hassle. Now, I'm planning to have the tooth on the left side of my mouth extracted too. Lalalala~~~
